Hooked Inc: Fishing Games 12+

It’s fun and challenging but..

I like it’s play style where you can either sit back and watch your crew fish up or you can trace around and collect mass amounts of fish ( and money ) and you can upgrade your ship with the earned money but you won’t always have the money in a second so it drives you to collect more money to upgrade but when you get crew member offers, it’s only around a few minutes ( from what I’ve seen so far ) and then I got an add that was around a minute when I was going to collect them and I couldn’t click off the add to collect them, so I would like to ask if you could pause the timer when adds appear, just a suggestion though. Don’t take it as a threat or me throwing a tantrum, it just kinda confused me. Overall I loveee the game!

Great game, some bugs.

I have been playing this game for about 2 weeks. I can’t imagine playing it for ages but it definitely is fun and a great challenge. The game is very fair, you don’t have to spend money if you don’t want to but if you do, you definitely get your moneys worth. The amount of ads is super annoying, even when you press skip ad you still have to watch an add. I paid to remove ads but to get some particular perks or rewards you must still watch the ads regularly.
The game does give you a lot of rewards which I love, whilst fishing you can catch different kinds of Chests which give different rewards.
I love the different challenges that come up, some of them weekly some of them last for a week or more some just for a day. Definitely keeps you in the game for longer periods of time. Some times at the end of an ad it doesn’t close so you have to close the game, you never lose anything just don’t gain the reward you were watching it for. The only problematic glitch is a glitch where the game goes crazy and auto spends your money on boat upgrades, it’s frustrating when you are saving to progress to deeper waters.
Would recommend it for a stress free relaxing game to play but it is worth paying to have no ads for it to be relaxing then after that you don’t need to spend a cent because the game gives you all the rewards you need to keep progressing and to complete challenges.

An honest review

This has probably been said a hundred times before I’m saying it, but it still needs to be said. I have a decent amount of hours in the game and as fun as the early levels feel, the game progresses naturally quite slowly when you get higher up. This is not my complaint. My complaint is the fact that you can’t hide or remove the crew member squares on the side, so assuming you’ve played the game a decent amount and spent money or not, by the time you progress enough through the game, you’ll get a decent number of crew members. So that’s a huge limiting factor for people who play on phones as it takes up almost half your screen, and on top of that, once you upgrade your boat high enough, the visible and playable screen becomes even smaller as the boat takes up majority of the screen. Unless you’re fully paying attention to the game every time you play it, you’ll miss fish and whatever else. Also some of the later fishing areas are just so dark that unless you play on max brightness, the fish and the water look almost identical. I’ve stopped playing now because I don’t have fun with it anymore and it feels like it takes too much of my focus to progress, and that’s not what games should be. Take this with a grain of salt, much like every other game of this type, it will be fun when you start but will drag on eventually.
