I’ve relished the option to split repayments on consumer purchases via Humm and other apps ever since these services became avaliable.It makes the hassle of saving and lay-bys a thing of the past, especially since you can take the good straight away and make the payments later. That means I can easily stay well within my budget and don’t fall into a dangerous credit card trap. I like the great range of vendors available on Humm; although the app loses a star in my rating because of it’s somewhat tricky interface and purchasing process (i.e. questionnaires and inability for multiple simultaneous contracts with same vendor). I’d also like to see an easier product category search option.That being said, the service is great and I love the freedom and flexibility it gives me now in shopping for the things I need.

I use humm as both a personal and business tool. I’ve been using it at my business for 3yrs and I’ve never had a customer complain about not being able to make payments or being charged random fees. Personally it’s a great way to split a large payment into smaller more affordable amounts. Of course I would never recommend a financial payment option if I believe someone can not afford repayments, but if your looking for a way to get a few things done or buy a few things at once (such as furnishing a house, upgrading your car, etc) then humm is definitely something to consider. You can break it up to periods that best suit you, which is great as I know I’ll have it deducted after I get my pay slip.

Pretty good app at first. They let you use their service on how much limit you got approved…easy peasy! Used the service for awhile about couple of years and even had an Apple Pay card for it. It was pretty simple actually just like Afterpay but Humm gives you the flexibility of paying purchases back in 10 instalment in every fortnight or faster in weekly instalment. Also gives you an every fortnightly payment in 5 instalments on store purchases and you can even pay Bpay bills too. But now, it changed…used to have limit of $1500 now they completely changed the way it works. It’s just now becoming a money lending hub with no Apple Pay card and you can’t even use on anything online, store purchases or even paying Bpay bills…nothing! They’ve gone into just lending money, so at the end I simply log out and closed my account with Humm! Sorry!

As Avery long term customer of Certegy I recently required to log on, only to see we the CUSTOMER needed to down load this app HUMM log back in. Only to find I can’t make an extra payment the app crashes the customer service number when pressing “9” doesn’t work. As per previous reviewer no one advise of any changes nor did they let us the customer know of a new app. Disgraceful credit company who don’t look after existing customers. The app isn’t user friendly doesn’t work but they are quick to sell promote and charge you a fee. I wanted to pay April and Mays account to avoid the monthly fee but when pressing the pay button it crashes. I even tried to pay my entire account off and still crashes.
