Description
Control your Hunter irrigation system(s) remotely using this app or using a web browser from anywhere in the world (note: internet access required).
The app allows for -
• Control of multiple Hydrawise/Hunter irrigation controllers
• Landscape and irrigation contractor management
• Manually start, stop (or suspend) individual irrigation zones
• Configure watering schedules and zones
• Configure flow, rain and soil moisture sensors
• View watering and rainfall reports
• View watering schedules and history
• View forecast and current weather conditions
• Attach images to each of your irrigation zones
This app requires a valid account at http://hydrawise.com. An account is free. To actually turn your sprinklers on or off remotely a Hydrawise-Ready Hunter irrigation controller is required - this can be purchased from your local Hunter distributor.
With a Hunter HC Irrigation Controller you can -
• Save water by automatically adjust watering schedules based on local weather conditions
• Control the system from anywhere in the world using your web browser or iPhone app
• Water more when it is hot, water less when it is cold or has rained
• Get reports on watering history, rainfall and temperatures
• Manage multiple irrigation controllers from the one account

Ratings and Reviews
Can be a bit complicated at first
Unfortunately the zone suspension appears to have been broken in the last couple of updates. “Suspend all” will not update to a new end date if the zones are already suspended. If you remove the sepension and re add it, it changes the end date to the old end date. Suspending individual zones does not update the original suspension date any longer. It seems to add a message under the old date?
Hopefully a quick fix will be released soon. Water is getting a bit expensive to be running irrigation during all the rain we are currently receiving.
Game Changer
I am a contractor who has installed not far off 150 of these units and have so from their early inception. They were a game changer then and they are a game changer now. I just sensed a lack of confidence from a client during a current installation. She had been looking at negative reviews like some of the ones here. It's an irrigation controller... rarely do people with positive experiences want to tell the world about a watering system... If they have a negative experience on the other hand they want to shout it from the rooftops... I can tell you that Hydrawise does precisely what it's told. Can technology be annoying at times, or appear glitchy? Absolutely, especially if you don't understand how things work, like your phone switching between cellular and wifi because your walking too far from the modem and trying to implement actions in the app at the same time... Or, the most common, installing the controller too far from your wifi signal source... Connection problems are the most common cause of 'glitchy' issues and these are no fault of the controller or software, just the user. As far as software ease of use goes, this system couldn't be any easier, it's an app, if you can't navigate the Hydrawise app, then you sure as hell wouldn't have been able to navigate any older irrigation controllers. My experience with Hydrawise has been nothing but smooth sailing.
The best wifi controller operating system out there
As a contractor the Hydrawise OS is light years ahead of the major competition, Rainbird. That being said there needs to be improvement.
Garden lighting should be a programmable option as a zone.
Integration with Google Assistant
Hunter have a range of controllers at different price points. They should just have one style of controller that can be upgraded through Hydrawise. Customers by Hydrawise, they don’t care about what the controller is. Hunter should realise this and stop wasting money manufacturing multiple lines of products when they can just have a couple of base lines that can be upgraded digitally.
The random delay when manually starting a zone is so infuriating and is unnecessary.
A stronger wifi receiver would be nice
Better quality lcd display screens
I am sure there are more but I hope Hydrawise read this and improve the OS for us the users both commercial and residential
Thanks
