iPad and iPhone are now two distinct formats. The exported files are now recognized automatically by XCode when dragged on an app icon asset.

Excellent Product

I have used this for a number of years and it was a fantastic product. So pleased to see that it has been updated to accomodate all of the recent icon sizes for newer devices.

Excellent app, using it to create Windows .ico files - better than that offered on the windows platform.

If you make icons, you need this app

This is a wonderfully straightforward and very functional piece of software. It does one thing – make icons (in a variety of formats and sizes) – and it does it well. (Note you’ll still need other software, such as Photoshop or Illustrator, for preparing the images themselves.)

Icon Slate has fast become an essential part of my design workflow.
