Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
Fixed an issue with Tracklog and Route syncing between the app and data in your online account.

Still no CarPlay?
With the amount of time mudmaps has now been on the iOS platform, consider too that the standard mapping uses apple maps which is on CarPlay, I hope that in the near future Mud Maps will follow the lead of other navigation and provide the best off road mapping app directly into our vehicles, not just on our iOS devices....
Great 4wd maps
Since the moment I purchase the up I’m very happy I watch all the tutorials and gave me a good understanding of how does it work. I do 4wd high country a lot and I find the maps very accurate after 5 years of using it at high country and a big trip to Cameron’s corner all the maps where very accurate.
I have few doubts about how to used at the beginning and I emailed the developer of the up and the following day he send me an email back.
Like any other 4wd up sometimes has a glitch when you save a route bite I email the developer to inform about it and he is already working on the issue.
Great maps, very accurate, good customer services, so far I’m very happy with MudMaps.
Not worth the money
I have now had this version for months and thought I would write a review
I am a long time user of mudmaps2 and was forced to spend the money again on mudmap 3 after a Apple update and 2 stopped working
They have replaced the most worthwhile map with Apple maps which is useless when traveling to places without mobile signal.
The maps available to download now have no where near the detail the previous mm2 had
I’m not happy I have had to spent the amount of money on a worse system
If you are new to mudmaps look at the reviews from ppl who have had previous versions
You say you removed the map in your response due to complaints and replaced it with “maps the Cfs use”
1- you only have stated Qld, NSw and Vic replacements. I live in Sa
2- seeing the map you removed is an open source map how about letting ppl make the choice themselves on wether the map is of any use. I have used the map throughout Sa, Outback Sa-Nsw and Qld and have never had it faulter on me
May I suggest you put up a link showing where you Customers can download the map themselves instead
Good old customer service seeing you have had so may response on removing the map
Developer Response ,
We have received similar feedback about mapping detail. The map you refer to used OpenStreetMap data, an incomplete, not verified, CROWD source dataset. Following a number of complaints from customers and in-depth consideration, we decided to remove this map on the basis of inconsistency and untrustworthy nature of the data.
Victopo, NSW LPI and Sunmap 1:50K topogrphic maps are now included in Mud Map 3 as replacements. These are maps used by various state emergency services staff, are accurate and highly detailed, down to the fire trail level.
You can download these maps for offline use by going to Menu > Maps > Download Maps.
