VoxRec is a voice recorder (dictaphone) with a built-in speech to text service. It uses state of the art AI to convert your voice memos into written text.
Dictate and transcribe your voice memos into text instantly with real-time live transcription or record your meetings and have your transcripts emailed to your inbox automatically.
VoxRec app is designed to automate your workflows, with accurate transcription, backups of your recordings and transcripts into your private cloud (iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive).
Transcribe voice memos imported from other apps, including voice messages from your favourite messaging apps.
Bookmark important moments during meetings or create a time reference using the '#' symbol (i.e. #9:41)
With iOS15 widgets, your memos are automatically organised by their location – have your off-site meeting memos always handy for review.

Lifesaver
Saves so much time! Allows me to achieve what I otherwise wouldn’t due to ptsd and not being able to relive and express experiences slowly which happens if typing out. This way I can just speak it and it’s less difficult and less anxiety promoting. Great app, need to speak clearly of course and a little editing here and there is likely but it’s worth having definitely.

Great app for taking notes
This app is very useful and accurate when it comes to transcriptions. We use a lot of abbreviations in our workplace, being able to add them into the dictionary is very helpful. I don’t enjoy taking notes in meetings but have to do it for meeting minutes, I find this app very helpful. This app has some really great features and designed beautifully.

Potential
Looks like the text speech to text transcription is very very good. Great you don’t need to spell out the punctuation although sometimes it puts in more full stops than you need need. The pricing is ridiculous - if they just charged a flat fee of five or $10 a month they would have millions of customers but the fees they charge are insane. The design is also pretty poor. Not easy to work out how to get rid of the keyboard once you’ve opened it.

Hello Marrcolt! Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the pricing can be prohibitive for some people and as we will grow, we will be adjusting it accordingly. We also prefer to have few thousands of very loyal customers to whom we can provide direct support if needed - and we do. For example from your feedback, we are adding an icon to the formatting bar above the keyboard to close the keyboard. It will be available in the next release in a few days. As for the overall design, we opted for minimalistic design which means a lot of features are hidden from the plain sight. If you have more feedback, please do reach out to us at support@voxrec.net.
