Important information about the app:
-To use the app, you need to subscribe to Spotify Premium Family first.
- A Kids profile counts as 1 account in your Premium Family plan. You can create up to 5 Kids accounts for your Family plan, and download the app to as many devices as you want.
- The app uses your device’s internal storage to store downloaded music for offline play.
- The app streams content over WiFi and mobile networks, so check your data package and allowance with your mobile network provider.
- The app asks for your child’s name and age. This is used to showcase the most relevant content for your child and to personalise their experience using the app. Children may see different content, depending on their age. All information is fully encrypted.

Not good enough
I was excited about the app and quickly set up the kids. The colors and bold simplicity is quite nice. However a couple drawbacks... first I saw some playlists that didn’t fit our family. This was my first issue so I figured out that you can block content but only played content. So I had to play every item in the playlist🙄 when I would have preferred to not have to play it to block it, also to have the option to block the whole playlist if need be.
The second issue I encountered was finding the music the kids really like. The artist ScratchGarden could not be found. And then Koo Koo Kanga Roo... I found it but the song list was ridiculously limited. And that was it for me. And like another user said... I want to be able to create my own playlists. So I’m deleting and setting up a regular account for them. I pay too much money for premium service, to use such a limited account, even if it is for kids.

Us again! We’ve been working to give kids access to the music they want. You can now share your created playlists with the Kids app. To get started, just head to the Spotify Kids app > Grown-ups > Select the Kids account > Shared playlists. For more info, search “Kids” at support.spotify.com.
A good MVP
It’s a good start to the app. The login options should be the same, so you don’t have to reset your password if you logged in via FB for example.
If your not allowing access to playlists, there should be a way for parents to add content to their kids account from their playlists (many of us would have kids playlists already setup) also vice versa, be able to see kids favourites on parent account to add songs to their playlists

Warning:
DONUT download this app u have to sign in with a ‘family premium account’ which has money and even if u don’t want to do that option the normal one still doesn’t work... if u look at the video of google it is a LIE! I downloaded it by asking my parents but when I downloaded it... no account worked! Literally every single account NEVER WORKS! 😱😱👎🏻👎🏻🤞👎🏻🙀🙀
