Jorelauck ,

Convenient Portable version of time magazine

It is very handy to have time magazine in your pocket when you are stuck in a line, sitting in a waiting room or in someplace where are you don’t know how to spend your time because you’re waiting for something. I should also mention that the quality of writing in time magazine in the last year has improved markedly. The articles are well researched and well thought out

Prescient Pete ,

Old v New- Magazine v App

I have lived with Time Magazine my whole life. My parents were in PNG and we had no TV so reading was an integral part of our existence. I have subsequently subscribed to Time for most of my adult life and one of the true pleasures I have enjoyed over a protracted period of time is reading your coverage of many issues. Now I am at the stage where I vacillate between reading the Magazine and the App. Each provides its own positive experience, however, I do lean towards the traditional mode of enlightenment. One of the defining features of technology is immediate access and that, in my opinion, is the most pertinent feature of the App. One can access while waiting for a person of importance purchasing shoes! I enjoy both platforms, the ease of access of the App, and appreciate the dedication, integrity and hard work of the team in bringing the world and many different perspectives to my little neck of the world.

Mr.Likeable ,

At last! It's working, and included in the print subscription!

So, finally, we South Pacific subscribers get access to the iPad version after a very long wait… And after some initial malfunctions with log-in, it appears to be working…

So, finally, we have access to some of the best journalism around the planet, coupled with outstanding iPad implementation.

It's been a very long wait for we South Pacific subscribers, but finally, it's here and working.

Notes on the magazine: TIME's choices of material, and the depth and readability of its cover stories in particular, are unequalled (IMO). It does have a very U.S.-centric view of the world, which needs to be considered. However, in my personal view, it's the best available weekly magazine for my needs - which balance a desire to understand what's happening in the world, with a general interest in what's new in science, psychology etc. It's a very high quality generalists magazine, and a really, really nice iPad implementation (e.g. some of the video pieces are very, very well done for the magazine format).
