I’ve just found this app and I am loving it. I was trying to identify a bird on a camping trip. I couldn’t find it but the wonderful guy perhaps the app developer sent me a lovely message and identified the bird for me. I am now back home in my backyard in Northern New South Wales, having lots of fun while drinking my morning coffee watching the birds, identifying them and listening to their sounds to make sure I have the correct bird. I’m just a beginner and developed an interest in watching birds on my trip around Australia a couple of years back. This app is really going to help me on my learning journey. So far in just a short time I’ve spotted two Pied Currawongs chasing a sulphur crested cockatoo, a pair of Australasian fig birds, some Brown Thorn bills, having a morning bath in the condensation on the leaves of a tree a group of King Parrots, and some welcome swallows , while listening to the Eastern whip birds call to each other in the distance. ☺️

Finding the birds, recording there sounds

I found this app very useful, however when I was trying to get back to them calling Paige RAW photo Paige kept taking me to something else I wanted me to do which is a bit frustrating other than that problem with it. I recommend it in those features, I have a deep affinity with with lorikeets cause, I know this one back to health talk to it and it's whistles every day you'll see which was a did and I have mini mimic them to direct them to pass in lorikeets and I find them responding to me. I also o oh my life to the chirping, the chips of Thanh is the Sp sparrows early in the morning they mimic the brains function in the cortex of the brain I truly believe we need the animals just as much does a humans on the planet we harmonise with them and every day flight, such a beautiful thing when they will be flying ourselves 😁

This app is actually really great for those who love birds, bird watching, backyard birding, photographing birds or are just curious to see what kind of bird keeps visiting their backyard/workplace. To see what birds are in the neighbourhood, 50km - 500km away is really awesome. There are epic quizzes, activities and interesting facts about our beautiful native birds. If you are sick of looking through your bird identification books to check and see what birds are in your area, then this is the app for you. I use this app everyday and kind of kicking myself that I didn’t download it sooner!

I’m pretty new to the app and bird watching in general, however I’ve been impressed with the apps user friendly design. The ability of the app to identify birds is generally quite good. Of course, the better the photo, the better it’s chance of correctly identifying.My main issue with it is that 95% of people who “identify” a bird don’t post a photo or a video or a sound clip so when scrolling through the birds that people have supposedly recently seen, it’s just stock image after stock image. You should have to post an actual photo or video or audio clip in order to register the sighting.
