Imagine Golf: Mental Game 4+

Older Beginner

I took up golf 7 years ago at the age of 55. As one of a handful of lady golfers at our rural Club I have progressed slowly with much of what I have learned being through trial and error. I am immensely enjoying your inspirational thoughts and feel much more at ease on the course and more mentally focused. My initial handicap was 45 (the highest you were allowed back then) and I was so dreadful it took me an entire year to actually play to 45! My dreadful stableford scores of 8 or 14 or even 20 were met with applause and encouragement from our Club- the magical day I actually won a round was nothing short of amazing- my handicap is still high and at 62 it’s unlikely to drop much- last year I won the ladies Division 2 Club Championships Gross - my first Gross win. Tomorrow is day 1 of our two day Championships - I plan on winning again- I have the mental tools to do so. I now play off 28 - my goal is to drop 10 and play off 18 - I’m a realist and I’m unlikely to ever reach A grade- my passion makes up for my lack of ability 🙄

Who Would’ve Believed it!

Omg! I downloaded the app just a few days ago. I’d only been through a few lessons before I played today. Right from the get-go the app made a HUGE difference to the way I approached, played and enjoyed the game. I hadn’t told my husband I’d downloaded the app, but he could instantly see something was different with my game. I left him guessing until I flew the dam on the 12th. Expecting the usual splash he was stunned. That’s when I confessed. This app has already made such a huge difference! It has given me the confidence to have a go and really focus.
It’s an amazing app and I feel so fortunate to have found it! I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Move over Insight Timer

Out of the way Insight Timer!! You got old and stale and riddled with corporate features! Imagine Golf is MY go to chill zone for learning heaps of different aspects of the game that I’m very new too but have alway loved and appreciated.
It features about six different styles of learning only two being centred around meditation. I would highly recommend it to ANY golfer!
The user interface is very pleasing to the eye and has never suffered a glitch or App crash and I use it daily.
