Great app
I've always wanted a native gmail app and this is great. Looks just like gmail in the browser because that's what it is, but works better because of easy offline access, better use of screen and built-in browser (for attachments etc.) - which is better than opening a new tab etc. Well done to the developers.
I haven't used it for that long buy haven't encountered any problems so far.
One thing I REALLY want is an easy way to go forward and backward one message in a conversation, like the n and p keyboard shortcuts in a computer's browser.
Works well for me...
Slightly buggy. More updates needed at the moment still leaves me with new mail number notification when I close down as I check all mail folders box not inbox. Have to open inbox an then close to get rid. However use it a lot, has all the functions I was lacking in iPhone mail ap. Shame about having to pay for push. Sometimes screens jump sporadically tho due to strange icons centre screen. These are rather annoying but seem to have been fixed up with new update release. Copying and pasting from emails is rather hard due to these icons too. Overall good.
Wonderful app - been lifesaver while traveling!
I really have loved the GMail app. It's been quite dependable although there was a lengthy delay (3 days!) in sending photo attachments. That happened only a couple of times and all good since then. Would like a bit more functionality such as being able to forward emails via the drip down menu. Otherwise top marks!!
