My partner and I have been using this app and I’ve recommended it for my Dad who has recently been diagnosed in the early stages of dementia. It’s got great tests for iq and personality (which is what made my partner join up - he wanted to prove his iq was bigger than mine.. it was not!!). And daily exercises to help keep your mind sharp. I can’t say what the benefits are at this stage as it’s early days, but suffering short term memory loss, it can only help that I’ve remembered to do it these last 2 days.It would be good if you could help and do the tests for others without it counting towards your own individual assessment (my son 11yo has been wanting to do a few of the iq and personality tests). We did one, but as I’m trying to keep him off his own tech it would be nice to have perhaps separate family profiles.

Buyer beware! I came across this app as an ADHD quiz which I saw no harm in taking as my friends have all diagnosed me anyway. Read the reviews and felt I had done my due diligence so I signed up for the 1 week free trial. Within 3 days having not touched the app again since day 1 I remembered how expensive it was and went in to the app to cancel it immediately. I hunted through that app for far longer than anyone could consider to be reasonable and couldn’t locate the cancel option anywhere so I sent my request through as feedback via the app but never received a response. Of course as soon as 1 week had passed they debited $65 from my account so I went to PayPal to dispute the transaction where I was directed to their support email address so I immediately emailed them, again with no response. Now I have sent feedback via the app a second time, I’m leaving this review here as a warning to others and I will be going back to PayPal as well as my bank to dispute this charge. I’m a calmly angry woman able to convey my feelings on this company in a clear and concise manner, I won’t lie or exaggerate because the truth is more than good enough to deter people from this company. People don’t like not being able to cancel as easily as they signed up but taking that option away entirely feels illegal and I will ensure everyone hears about it.

I hate these apps these days, they ask you for your details and make you fill out a bunch of questions takes about 10-15 or so min of your time and then at the end they tell you you will have to pay/subscribe to use the app. Why don’t they tell you that beforehand? Because they’re afraid you won’t purchase. And you feel more invested and worked up after they’ve dragged you thru a bunch of questions.Oh and don’t try tell us because you offer a 3 day or 1 week free trial that you are giving us the option to purchase because we all know in order to get that free trial we have to enter our bank details and you are just capitalising/banking on the fact that we have busy lives and will forget that we’ve subscribed to your app and we end up paying for it and it’s difficult to get a refund.I don’t subscribe/purchase whenever I experience this because it’s a dodgy way for an app or anyone to do business.Just tell the App Store or yourselves to give us the price situation before hand, at the beginning or before opening the app, from the very start. Or how about give an actual free trial of the app where we don’t have to give our bank details?Afraid you won’t make as many sales?… well I’d rather do business with upfront ethics than dodgy trickery

Update. So, my review earned a scripted response from the developer claiming they’re broke & that’s why their free trial isn’t actually free. Are we surprised? Guys, if you’re broke it’s because you’re being too greedy with your sales process. Woo your customer & they’ll be your customer for life. Push and otherwise try to trick your customer & they’ll reject you & tell all their friends to avoid you. If you’re not broke and you’re lying, ewww. Ugh. I was THREE MINUTES into a pathetic 3 day free trial of this stupid app and they had already interrupted with elaborate $$$ money grab pop ups THREE SEPARATE TIMES and refused to share any info about a quiz result until you had signed up for the yearly plan (So, Not a free trial.). I spend money on apps regularly and have no problem paying for in app purchases, but ONLY if the app has earned it and is proving that they are able to provide real value. In this case, the app is complete garbage. I am seriously regretting downloading it and wish I could get the last ten minutes of my life back. Don’t get sucked in guys, it’s just an elaborate scam designed to part you from your money.
