Choose healthier products for your life.

With one quick scan, Init gives clear info about hard-to-understand food and beauty product labels.

The app analyses nutritional values and, equally importantly, all ingredients, additives & chemicals that are contained inside, and how risky they may be for your health.

Each product is given a simple colour code to show its health risks to your body: excellent, good, mediocre, or bad.

You can access a detailed product information screen to help you understand the analysis of each health rating.

Unlike the Australian Health Star rating system, which analyses ONLY nutritional values, Init analyses the level of processing and all ingredients, including artificial additives, and whether the product is organic.

Init assigns health ratings for cosmetic and personal hygiene products based on the chemical composition of these products. The app analyses all of the product's chemicals and ingredients. Every ingredient is assigned a level of risk, based on existing scientific research.

Now you know what's in it.

What is happening to your app. I cant seem to get in contact with ur developers to tell them of some issues with app

Wow. Thankyou. For the past 10 years I’ve been reading books downloading apps and learning on the go what’s good and what’s bad by all these ridiculously long names that your regular every day person doesn’t understand on the ingredient list.
I got to the point I was teaching people in my family who are professionals what good ingredients and whats not so good both for cosmetics and food.
This app is great cos i am exhausted trying to keep up with it all. I realise my choices cos of this app are confirmed 80% well chosen and have found my go to snacks are very low grading on this app which is good to know because I know I can still have a small amt of them bc 80% of my diet is healthy and it is on the good side with additives etc.
Take care of yourself and get this app. Thank you again developers for ur work esp the fact its based on aussie goods. I only just bought a new foundation to find out 50% ingredients are questionable so will not wear it long term. And i looooove the fact there is a link regarding the facts about a specific ingredient. Well done 👍 👏 ps. Would be good if good sugar and bad sugars were seperated in reading list

Finally a way to actually see what your really buying!!!

I always wonder when I buy organic or higher priced products whether or not they’re actually better for you. Saves me ages standing in the supermarket deciding which muesli to buy. Also additives - such a loophole who knows which ones bad n which ones are ok... thanks to this app I don’t have to google if it’s safe for my kids to eat. Going home now to scan my entire cupboard!!!

I am really enjoying this app. I have gone through the fridge and pantry and was so surprised to have an on the spot diagnosis of what I am purchasing and putting into my body. Some products I thought would be of benefit to me are wrapped in a disguise both of under performance and others have higher value than I anticipated. This is a rewarding app to take the mystery out of shopping for your everyday necessities with a focus on good healthy choices.
