Absolutely Brilliant!!
Perfect for application design, I was able to bring my app to life with just a few clicks, very easy to use, fast and powerful 5star software!!
cool idea, some problems stopping people wanting to use it
I really like the idea, but in trying to test it out we encountered a few issues…
1. using the Pencil on an iPad is awful because, unlike a lot of apps, it doesn’t detect that you’re using a stylus and ignore finger/palm taps for drawing… you end up with all kinds of crazy lines, and random zooming
2. if you zoom out too far, you can’t see anything to know where to zoom back in… there should be a way to ‘reset’ so someone isn’t left behind for 10 minutes while they hunt down the content… and it’s quite easy to zoom out accidentally, especially when using a Pencil on ipad since it doesn’t ignore palm rest “input”
lesser issues…
3. missing keyboard shortcuts, like ctrl+Z for undo
4. every time you switch apps on iPad it reloads the view… for no obvious reason… even for just a few seconds. it’s awful if you’re swapping between docs/chat/etc
5. i’m not really sure why there isn’t a “document level” chat, only threads on the page, but some things aren’t localised so make sense at a doc level
Needs fixing - crashes on 2nd use
Maybe fix the products you have before trying to create new ones.
Crashes the second time I go into a pro type I have to delete the app to get back into it. No support or updates for weeks!
—latest updates fixes my gripes. Now it just needs to update / sync better. Would be 5 stars if it was as dynamic as the desktop version.
