Rubbish system now has subscription?
I’ve had this system for 5 years with cameras, base and control unit. Has to be the dumbest smart alarm ever! Controls, setup, access to camera, notifications, network connection, batteries are all unreliable, frustrating and not fit for purpose. Risco help is non existent and can only be serviced by a local installer, who are extremely limited. Not even worth 1 star.
I don’t usually leave bad feedback but after spending $1.5k+ on the whole system, they are now asking to pay to use the app!!. There are plenty of cheaper and or better options.
Great system, app may need improvements
I bought this system because it was ticking all the boxes as per my alarm system requirement. Very few systems in the market offer 3G support. Apart from the quality of images from PIR camera everything else works perfect.
Regarding app, overall it’s fine but if you can address following issues, it can be the best experience.
1) App logs out occasionally
2) it takes 5-10 secs to connect to panel
3) when alarm goes off, it becomes unresponsive for short duration and takes around 30-60 secs before you see images.
I would to see if you can also add, voice support like (Siri). Geo fencing will be great addition if you have integration with Apple HomeKit. No major updates/feature from you guys over 2 years now. Hope to see something new soon before you loose this loyal customer.
IRISCO alarm
So far, so good after initial online cloud issue but this is a new estate so things happen. One thing I would like to be considered is Apple Watch support. To activate and deactivate from the watch would be ideal and could be done especially considering series 3 watches can separated from iPhone and act independent. Simple swipe like on the phone would be great just to arm or disarm. Other features fine to stay on smartphones. Oh, to be notified of entry should be simple also just like my arlo camera does.
