FAQ:

Question: How does iScheduleTimeMachine work?

Answer: iScheduleTimeMachine is a Frontend that triggers Mac OS X's built in Time Machine Backup solution.

Question: Where do I change Backup settings like the Backup Hard Drive, Folders to be Excluded from Backup, etc...?

Answer: As iScheduleTimeMachine is only a Frontend for Time Machine all these Settings are made in the System Preferences / Time Machine as you would do it without using iScheduleTimeMachine.

Question: How do I restore Files that were backed up using iScheduleTimeMachine?

Answer: Just open the Time Machine App that comes with your Mac. The whole restoration Process is not affected by iScheduleTimeMachine at all.

The (almost) perfect scheduler for TM

This tool gives you the flexibility to manage Time Machine backups they way you want AND it also provides progress of each backup (ie % complete etc) ; you lose nothing by turning off TM and using this tool to manage it which is far more flexible. Other products in the Appstore work just as well in terms of schduling but lack that progress which I want to see in this kind of tool.

I have found a minor issue (for me) when using it with my VPN for some reason , it is unable to mount the Time Capsule until I turn ExpressVPN off. Once that is resolved it is a 5 star candidate

STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP!!

This app will ask you to run a separate scritp (should't be permitted) which will screw your whole system and (in my case) doesn't even run in Catalina... I'm writting this review from a different mac while restoring my system... Last update was 6y ago...

Avoid this app like the plague! - It will make everything worst, including your Time machine Backup.
