It’s alright

So I purchased this app with the hopes that it would make my day eaiser and in some aspects it has, but in others it hasn’t. The good parts are that it tells me everything I need to know when the time arrives, but the bad part is that it is extremly difficult and confusing to use. For some reason I cannot enter more than 4 weeks. Now I’m sure there is a way, but it isn’t at all explain, nor is it simple.

Room for Improvement

Here is my short summary review:

In summary - The Positives:
* Can set Period start and end times
* Can set reminders if desired
* Vertical or Horizontal orientation
* Can add extra lesson information like room/teacher

In summary - For Improvement:
* More customisation is desirable - this being...
- Need to customise the period labels from numbers to text such as 'recess' or 'lunch' or 'meeting'
- Ability (and option) to add colour to lesson timetabled squares (transparent colour in the background)
- Ability to add period start and end times to the box is desired so it is visible on the timetable and not hidden in the settings, just like you can add room/teacher option to a lesson

Here is my longer written summary of the above:
I will gladly change my review with some updates of this app. I love a timetable to keep me organised but each persons timetable is unique and so a little more customisation is desirable. For example, I have 6 teaching lessons in my day, one recess break and 2 parts to lunch that I could be rostered on a playground duty. However, I have to list the recess, lunch 1 & 2 as ‘periods' which inevitably places my 6th period as ‘Period 9’ on the timetable (but it’s not! and I don’t like looking at it as Pd9!). To be able to customise the period labels and have the option of adding colours to the timetable so I can distinguish between year groups or even subject areas would be UBUNDANTLY helpful.

In saying the above, I still give 3 stars because ‘its ok’ (2 stars is ‘I don’t like it’ and I like where this app has started). I am still able to type in my class period start and end times ( and set reminders if desirable). I can have the timetable either vertical or horizontal (I prefer vertical) and i love this feature. I also like being able to add extra information to the class like Room label or whatever it is you need to customise.

This app has made a good start. Now for the added features and more room to customise as this is what will make a really good app. When people can make it their own… you’re on a winner. Looking forward to the improvemens to come.

It’s not bad, but need to be improved

It has really simple interface and functions. That’s the good points. However, I can’t understand, why the developer want it display all sessions by periods. Why can’t it display the timetable by duration? And if the user want to insert a period between periods already exist, the assigned sessions won’t keep on the right place. I should say this app is disappointing to me.
