Description
With this app you are able to remotely control your Mac from anywhere in your apartment. (Wi-Fi required)
Switch it off from the bedroom, turn up the volume from the kitchen, control a full keynote presentation or just start a video sitting on the couch in front of your Mac Mini that is connected to your HDTV.
No hassling around with IP addresses, nothing to config, just install the free helper application on your Mac and it just works. Thank you bonjour.
Even older macOS versions (with Front Row) are supported, just make sure your Mac is running at least OS X 10.4.

Not a good free sample
Apple has a better controller of iTunes (and in the free version of jfControlFree, this is all you get - a stripped down version of Apple's Remote), so this is no trial at all. It's a pathetic trial, with the option to put your machine to sleep (woohoo), or adjust the system volume only. Inexplicably, there is an icon denoting the 'speaker', with a red cross through it, but no explanation of why or what volume it relates to. I need an app which can control Keynote, and able to switch to Safari - but this is not it. There are other alternatives to explore...
Poor Effort
Ugly and confusing interface. Doesn't look like an iPhone app. I don't expect a lot of functionality from a free app, but it was so pared down that I couldn't tell if the paid version, for which I would be willing to pay, would suit my needs. I won't be buying the paid version.
On a positive note, Bonjour is employed. One other I tried required that I enter an IP address, which is archaic and unnecessary.
Doesn't support windows
I prouldly have a pc and don't plan on changeing to mac any time soon
