Version 6.1.3

This version of the app includes these new features:
• a success screen with an app reference number when you submit a contact form request
• improvements to the 'Find a job' function
• updates to the 'apply' link for jobs hosted by Workforce Australia and those hosted by other sites
• logos added to job ads
• updates to the email or telephone 'apply' button to open the phone dial pad or email app
• a new 'Report this job' form available on the job ad screen
• Workforce Australia account inbox available in the app
• updates to the 'email job application confirmation' task to show you’ve applied for a job and to report points from the app
• updates to 'tasks' to go to pages within the app instead of the website.
We’ve also:
• addressed accessibility issues with links and button contrast
• fixed a broken link to the website’s ’Services and outages’ page
• improved error messaging for saved jobs.

My review

I do enjoy the notifications and the tasks to complete section. It is quite a well designed app.

However, recording job search evidence can be a little tricky. I feel sorry for whomever is not technologically savvy for they would struggle and become annoyed quite easily.

For example: I have learnt that if I have the app open for too long and then reopen to record evidence of a job I applied to, I can enter all the information in but once I submit it the app logs me out and I have to re-enter all the info once more. To get around this little glitch I log myself out and in again after I know the app has been open for too long and not been used.

Hi Ames23! Thanks for your feedback about the app. We're glad to hear you find the notifications and tasks to complete sections useful. For security reasons, the app does log out after a period of time. We are working on creating a PIN login to make the process easier, which we hope to roll out by the end of the year. Too too much requirements

Number 1 : In order to use/download or update this app my device$ ( phone/laptop MacBook /iPad ) requires iso of 13.5 or later which only my iPhone12 (purchased 2018) is compatible to do the other devices MacBook ( purchased 2017) and iPad ( purchased 2015) update to Iso 13 so now when I open app on these 2 devices I’m sent on the never ending loop of requires update~requires iso 13.5 or later~download a earlier version~etc

Then one has to spend 15~20 navigating through to find what where then input so much stuff I’m already not that fast but not that slow at typing however this appp takes up all a lot too much time in order to complete my minimum requirements and then drops out or resets or doesn’t acknowledge my point even if I’m over the minimum

See even this review is taking up tooo much time cos it’s not goin get any thing done much like this app

Terrible

I have been reporting my points as required but the total does not update. For all the activities and work hours I have done in the last month, I should have over 150 points, yet have been stuck on 45 for the last two weeks.
App tells me I have an urgent appointment at 10am, yet does not specify what date or an address of where I am expected to go.
I had an interview scheduled recently, when I went to mark as attended the entire appointment had just disappeared and nowhere on the entire app was there an option to mark the interview as attended. Now today I receive a message telling me my payment is on hold because I failed to attend the interview that I definitely did attend. This whole set up is a mess and such a hassle. My provider must hate me by now with the amount of times I have had to contact her regarding these issues.
