Description
Keka is a full featured file archiver, as easy as it can be.
With Keka you can compress as many files as you want in a bunch of formats. Divide files and protect them with a password is now a kids game. Just drop the files you want to compress to the Keka icon in the Dock or the main window.
Also Keka can extract lots of compressed files, from ZIP and 7Z to RAR archives, even parted ones. Just double click on those files and they will be extracted using Keka, or drop them to the icon in the Dock or the main window.

The most ubiquitous compression tool out there!
This tool is absolutely amazing, it may not be as beautifully designed as the competition but it delivers way more functionality than the competitors at an amazing price. I hope some day, we will get a finder type interface to be able to browse archives without having to open them.
I had been using a mainstream archiver for many years (decades if you include OS versions of it) and although a great app, is limited in support for compression standards. I ended up with a few compression tools on my Mac to support all the archives that I work with. When I dicovered Keka and after a few months, I was able to delete all my other compression tools and rely solely on this app.

my all time fave - I keep coming back
I've had keka for years and years - sometimes I've gone and got a different app or program to try but I always come back to keka again. it's simple, easy, and works perfectly every time. the icon is cute too! it's got a lot of customisable features and I'm able to set my admittedly finnicky preferences exactly how I want them. keka's the app i recommend and it's the one i'll always buy

The best GUI for p7zip you'll find anywhere
All the functionality of p7zip with all the sensible and convenient settings and controls you could ask for in an easy to use GUI. Plus it has a finder extension for right-click menu integration. Not sure what else it could do to be better.
