Decent but room for improvement

This review is based on the app’s performance and navigation on iPhone X.

The navigation and control buttons at the top is just too high and almost overlaps the info bar/ notches on the iPhone X (as in the iOS battery, time, etc). The menu list is also quite small for touch navigation. The app generally lags and on first go was unresponsive once I clicked into ‘stories’ and tried to go back into ‘moments’. However, seemed like just a glitch.

I like the ability to observe my child’s day and easily save photos.

Issue with scrolling

The app itself isn’t bad, a little clunky but you’ll be able to figure out how to navigate it after using it for awhile. However, I have an issue with scrolling through pictures. It has been sorted from oldest picture to newest picture. Even when I have tried to change it from the newest to oldest, it is not working. I have raised a ticket with Kept Me and they have recommended a few steps to try and make it work but they have all failed. After trying for a bit, the Kept Me team has stopped trying and stopped advising which is disappointing. My child’s school uploads pictures everyday so you can imagine me spending minutes scrolling to the bottom to see the latest picture.

The idea is great but it’s so glitchy.
For example I’m the main account holder but currently can’t see any of today’s photos even though my partner and our parents have had the photos appear about 4 hours ago. Also often updates appear on my iPad but not on my iPhone or vice versa. Quite a few times the grandparents access has just been removed so we’ve had to go through the whole invite/set up process with them over the phone again and again. It would probably be easier for me to just load the photos to iCloud and let relatives see it that way rather than pay the monthly fee and deal with the issues.
