Kids App Qustodio 4+

As a teen using this app, I have come to dislike it due to several reasons.
I understand that the app has lots of limitations on iOS because of Apple’s privacy reasons, but the way the app blocks content and apps is just so bad.
Instead of blocking apps, the app removes/hides every app that wasn’t pre-installed and disables things such as Siri, screenshotting, screen recording and the camera .
One thing that has really coke to annoy me is the Qustodio VPN. Apparently, the servers are located in America, which is a problem for me who lives in Australia. Apps run 2x slower than usual and don’t load. On apps such as Instagram and TikTok, photo/video previews do not load as well as profile pictures.

I’d recommend that the developers let you use the camera, screen record, screenshot and use Siri. It’s just disappointing that I got a phone because it had good cameras even though I can’t use them for only 10%-12% of the day. I’d also recommend that they improve the VPN feature.

The reason why I hate this app because my Aunty bought it, SHE CAN CONTROL ANYTHING, before I moved in with her I had lots of freedom on my phone and I never did anything wrong at all! When I moved in with her she put on another app called family zone it caused a lot of problems and I hated it, after she discovered this app and I hate it to death (not saying I hate the company) but as a teenager and 13 I feel like I should be able to communicate everyday with my friends, not even my friends have parental controls anymore, even she has it on my school laptop which is stupid because I have to wait till 10:30 til it lets me on the godamn internet, even my health teacher was like wth. You see my school starts at 8:55 and I have to wait nearly 2 hours!! I don’t recommend this app at all but if your kid is not trustworthy understandable

Never let your parents download this app on ur device like bolt out of the house as soon as you have a suspicion. This app completely ruined my trust with my parents and took away all my freedom and social life. My parents were incredibly strict and wouldn’t let me hangout with my friends most of the time so I’d communicate on social media (which I’m not allowed to have), but they downloaded the app and I couldn’t download social media to talk to them. They also wouldn’t let me FaceTime anyone and they could read my messages giving me no privacy also they would lock my phone and change my password through the app what’s the point of giving me a good phone just to ruin it by not being able to call anyone I felt trapped and I hated my parents for it. I’m literally 17 I’m about to graduate and i have no freedom. So please, any kids or parents reading this, don’t download the app please unless you want to ruin your relationship!!!!
