Idiot Proof
I was going to download photos from my phone to our computer, put them on a USB and take it to Kmart. Connect to their in store technology and order my prints and wait for them….WHY when they have an app….in less time than it’s taken me to type this they’ve messaged to say they are ready….It’s idiot proof, do it love love love
Pure frustration
I began using this app a month ago and it has been agonising!! I am rural so don’t have the convenience of just popping down to the local Kmart kiosk. It took what should have been a few hours job into weeks to do a basic photo book because if the app or my phone went to sleep everything was lost. In the end my book was rushed and it shows. I have had the same issue just ordering mini prints and regular prints. I had worked for hours and saved the projects, only to go check something and find it was empty!! Same issue with checkout by sending straight to checkout as each is completed only to find at some point the checkout has cleared also. Crop has limited function which is also frustrating. A better range of effects and editing features would go a long way and the ability to draw/write and add borders would would complete this app once these other issues are sorted. (I have good service where I live also)
App malfunctioning
No ability to save and edit for later. App would put photos over the top of photos, and the overlapping picture is unable to be removed for the rest of the entire calendar. Therefore you cannot see the images you are trying to put in place on other pages. There is no way to get rid of this extra strange image on the page other than to back out and lose all your work. After five attempts of having to start all over again, I finally got one calendar completed. Also the layout of images whether portrait or landscape is very limited, and therefore you have to very carefully select which images you want in order to not cut peoples heads off in the final design. App does not alter or compressed image to fit. Layout does not necessarily indicate whether the images will be portrait or landscape.
Overall very frustrating and time consuming for what should have been a simple thing.
