The trails in East Kowen Forest, Sparrow Hill, Majura Pines, Bruce Ridge, and Zoo Pines are some of the Canberra region’s most popular ride destinations. Hand tooled by small but insanely dedicated trail builders, these trails are all about community. There are so many trails now, that an App was needed to help riders discover them all — so we built one with our friends.
The latest update includes:
– Detailed maps for each location showing the entire trail network
– Every trail listed and distances
– Information about the local trail builders & trail building
– Course overlay for the 2015 Kowalski Classic (Quarter, Half, and Full courses)
– Upcoming major events
Whether you ride the trails regularly or there for the very first time, this App will be the handiest tool in your pack (especially if you want to ride that trail you’ve heard good things about or find your way back to the car!
Simply download the App and use your phone’s GPS to show where you are on the map. Enjoy your ride!
The Final Kowalski!
October 15th event maps for all distances have been added.
Find them in, "Upcoming Events" on the main menu.

Great App - v handy !!!
Any chance you can add a setting to either force GPS always on, or just to leave it alone if another app is using it. Reason I ask is that using trail buddy at the same time as tracking a ride in Fitbit or Strava messes up the other app's tracking. Thanks!
Essential for out of towners
It may be pricey but there's a limited market for this app. Besides, the money is going to the trail builders so who can argue about price really? I wanted to ride the trails outside of the mont and this app was essential to finding the good stuff and not going around in circles. Thanks kowalski's!
Needs to be updated!
The app claims to have ‘a detailed map showing the whole trail network’ and ‘every trail listed’ however since the app was released new trails have been made but they are not shown on the app (eg. tough titty, long bow, broken arrow, kips canyon). More than four weeks after informing the developers, nothing has been done to include the new trails.
Also, the app promised that 'suggested trail rides' like the Kowalski Classic were ’to be added soon’ but months later this has not happened either...
Up to six family members will be able to use this app with Family Sharing enabled.
