I am a big fan of Big Fish HOG's and the true test of the game is if I make it through the free trial and still want to buy it, (and yippee!) this one's up there..I bought this one, no hesitation! After trialling (I love the free trial!) about 10 others which I did not buy. I bought this one because of the 'feel' of it. I played and enjoyed all three "House of 1000 doors" and this one most closely resembles them (which I love) in graphics, sound, story and overall ease of navigation. However it did take me a while to work out to press near the lights on the inventory bar to go back a screen and I don't like how it restarts in the Big Fish app every time... Overall, I am loving the quirky story, beautiful scenes and music and enjoy the challenge of the HOG's and puzzles (some puzzles are even too easy). Overall, a very good 'feel'ing game.
Cute game
Puzzles were hard, I skipped most. Graphics beautiful. Wasn’t a fan of the storyline. A bit hard to move between scenes as had to keep tapping. Was an okay game.
A---e iT---s is why we pay more
$6.99 is the stock price for collectors editions & $4.99 for standard editions as emailed to me by BFG customer support.
Now in the $6.99 cd or $4.99 sd A---e have included their fees & taxes due to our dollar so they say. A---e is responsible for applying the prices stated by BFG and pass them onto us by adjusting iT---s prices for sales etc but it is not done.
When I did email them all I got was some blah, blah excuse about extra fees & taxes based on current dollar performance. Basically A---e is double dipping and ripping off us Aussies and they don't even pay any taxes!! How come the other play store can sell the same games a lot cheaper if A---e says it's based on our dollar? Shame on A---e.
So if you have any problems with pricing talk to A---e customer support but be warned they are horrible. P.s. Try getting them to help you with a purchase history print out for a hard copy if no records are found problem & see what they say...lol. Good at taking loads of money but bad with support.
