Lazada - Online Shopping App‪!‬ 17+

English speaking shopper

Not as easy as eBay for an English speaker. Not easy to chat with sellers either. But great prices and deliveries in Thailand within days. If ordering from China can be up to 2 months….
Suggest Lazada have the ability to say ok to leave delivery at reception or somewhere of your choice as often you get 2 minute call warning something is arriving. And a courier calls each time which is just not needed if you a concierge.
If an item is to be returned they send you a barcode to download and a delivery person will collect it and scan your barcode if you don’t have a printer ! Cool. Delivery times not as mentioned either so expect delays. The app games and promos and coupons make no sense to me, might be easier for thai speakers. Continue to shop!!

Comprehensive Shopping Platform

It is very hard to be a master of all trades, however Lazada is giving it a pretty good go. They offer a wide variety of products over multiple platforms and sellers all within the one app. The customer service is quite good, though the process at times can be frustrating to follow but at least there is a process! The only times I have been truly disappointed have been related to seller and delivery performance which are not controlled by Lazada directly though I feel they do their best to intervene and monitor this.

Lazada’s own vouchers never work

So Lazada gave me a $5 voucher, but said voucher never ever works due to “suspicious account activity “ and they’ll give you a list with vague allegations, without any instructions on how you can eliminate any suspicions they have against your account. It’s just annoying and feels incredibly unprofessional.
A little bit insulting too.

Still no issues letting you to continue shopping with them without using a voucher.
It feels rather obvious that they don’t want you to use the $5 voucher they gave you.
I am growing tired of their games.
So Lazada, don’t give me a voucher if you don’t want me to have a voucher.
Simple as that!

This voucher issue has happened so many times that I wonder if anyone has been able to use their Lazada vouchers.
Seller vouchers work.
But Lazada’s own vouchers, no, never in my years.

Other than that my overall shopping experience with them is good.
