Introduction / Description

This application will help you use the learning progressions frameworks to support teaching and learning.

It allows you to browse the frameworks and illustrations anywhere, anytime and make notes to help you in your work.

Support for teaching and learning
The frameworks illustrate the significant steps that learners take as they develop their expertise in reading, writing, and mathematics from years 1 to 8.

Reading, writing and mathematics are broken into their various aspects, supported by richly detailed illustrations. This app contains all sets of illustrations and the ‘big ideas’ behind them.

You can use the frameworks to: think about your students and how they are progressing; help with moderation and planning; or assist with overall teacher judgements (OTJs) for National Standards.

The frameworks are used in the Progress and Consistency Tool (PaCT).

The notes
You can make short notes of your thoughts and ideas as you browse. The notes are saved on the page they were made and dated. You can search for notes using a common word or phrase.

FAQs

How do I delete all last years notes?
The only current way to do this is to uninstall the app and re download it from the app store. This way you will always get the latest version as well. Please note an update will SAVE your notes, to delete them you must uninstall the complete app first.

How do I get from the fee text search results screen to the page the text is located?
Just tap the body of the text in the result you wish to use.

How many notes can I have on a page?
Notes are unlimited.

Why cant I open the note from its bottom of page
strip format to the note format?
This was considered un necessary as the strip note will grow to show all the text entered.

Can I edit a note?
Not at this stage. Either add another note or delete and rewrite it.

How long can a note be?
Text within a note is unlimited.
