Description
With the Lieferando iPhone app, you can order the food you love wherever you are in Germany. From over 37,000 restaurants, supermarkets and convenience stores to choose from, you can enjoy everything from burgers, pizza, pasta, sushi, salads and loads more, and get it all delivered to your door.
Need some bits from the supermarket, liquor store or florist? Just open the Lieferando app, choose ‘groceries’ and fill your basket. Whether it’s baby food, diapers, flowers, liquor, beer, wine, beauty products, ice cream, chocolate, milk, fruit and bread, our partners have it all.
How it works:
Ordering is easy. You can either pick a saved address, fill in your postcode/street name or let the app find your location automatically. You can then choose your favourite restaurant or store and select what you fancy. Choose to pay with PayPal, Klarna, credit card, Apple Pay or another option, or pay with cash when your food gets delivered if the restaurant allows it.
Follow your order to your doorstep:
Track your order from the kitchen or store straight to your doorstep with our Food Tracker®. We'll even send you push notifications to update you about the status of your order. It usually takes 30-45 minutes to deliver your food or groceries.

Your Lieferando app has a brand new look!
Based on your feedback, we improved the design. It’s easier than ever to order what you want – from groceries to delicious meals.
There are now more search options and filters, and we also improved the navigation speed.
On top of that, we added new features like:

Browse the most popular categories in your neighbourhood.
- New ‘For you’ section
Access StampCards and Loyalty Points by clicking ‘For you’ in the navigation.
- Bigger menu images
See what’s on offer at a glance. Like the look of something? Press ‘+’ to add it to your basket.

Your last order is saved for you, so you can come back to it anytime.

Ratings and Reviews
Waste of time. Faked restaurant reviews
So far I made three orders and all three has been terrible in its own way.
Order #1 delivery took more than 90 minutes when it was promised to be delivered in 35 minutes and ultimately ended up getting a cold wet blob of pizza like thing.
Order #2 was an order for Indian food. delivery was fast, the restaurant had thousand plus review with an average review of 4/5. And we got a very low quality food. The app does not let you add ratings or reviews about the restaurant. I believe the ratings and reviews on the app about the restaurants are faked data set just to attack business.
Order #3 made an order to an Asian restaurant. I have to admit, the food delivered was a new low standard. Again this restaurant had 6k plus reviews with an average rating of 4plus/5. This is when the app does neither let you make any review nor rating.
Fake reviews.

Waste of time, can’t communicate with people
The only way to mention an issue with an order or it not being delivered is via email. There has been no response for an hour. The delivery driver (who I tipped out of good faith) said they delivered the order over half an hour ago. No one has showed up. No way to contact lieferado promptly. I now have to work a 12 hour shift with no food and no explanation as to what has happened. Complete waste of time and money. I’ve asked for a refund including the tip but of course have not heard back.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I would rather walk 3km to pick up my food or go hungry than use this useless app ever again. No location tracking for your order, no live updates or timing, no ability to contact the restaurant, and on top of all of this: HORRIBLE customer service: my food never arrived and they won’t refund me - the delivery driver could have eaten it himself for I know, and Lieferando refuse to take any responsibility for their lack of controls and their partner restaurants’ actions!

The contact details of the restaurant can be found in the confirmation mail you receive after you successfully ordered. Please note that in case you chose to pay cash, we are not able to refund any money. Also, if the restaurant denies, for example in case they could not reach you but tried to deliver.
