“[A] surprising iPhone and Apple Watch bestseller is pushing the boundaries of fiction” - boingboing.net
“This is the best game on the Apple Watch” - Time.com

Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds. Using your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, you will help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together.

Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you.

Lifeline pioneered a new narrative experience enabled by modern devices. This story plays out in real time as Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Taylor directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app.

Or, dive in and jump back to earlier points in the story, and see what happens when you make a different choice. Simple actions can have a profound effect. Complete any single path to restart the story and unlock this mode.

Lifeline is a deep, immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes. Taylor is relying on YOU.

Praise for Lifeline:

“I’ve played many games that I find engrossing, but Lifeline may be one of the first that changed the way I thought about my daily routine, which leapt off the screen and became a part of my lived experience.” - Eli Cymet, Gamezebo

“I felt an immediate attachment to a fictional character pinging me from a strange galaxy to my wearable.” - Luke Hopewell, Gizmodo Australia

“For a few brief hours I cared – really cared – about the fate of a completely fictional character. I don’t think any other game I’ve played has made me feel that way before.” - Matt Thrower, PocketGamer

Editors' Notes

The first in a series of groundbreaking text adventures, Lifeline kept us in suspense the whole time, desperately awaiting the next message from marooned astronaut Taylor. As you receive text notifications telling you what Taylor’s doing, you reply with instructions on which way to travel, whether to explore a derelict ship and other crucial decisions. The tension mounts as you try to help the castaway survive, and the option to rewind and pick different choices makes the game wonderfully replayable.

A Perfect Game

This is literally one of the best games I have ever played in my life, and I don't say that loosely. Although it is simple, short and does cost some money, that all doesn't matter, because it's all worth it.
This is the first time, in my life, that I've actually cared about a completely made-up character, as if they were a real person, and the way the story is told is perfect for how it does this. And don't worry about the simplicity, because the game embraces it, and in a very well executed way.
Although it is short (I finished in a couple days) that doesn't matter at all, because the quality easily outweighs the quantity of any game. I would have gladly paid at least triple the price after playing it, and I think you would agree after playing too.
Don't worry about not playing to the game's "full experience" because you don't have a smartwatch, because I didn't have it, and I don't think it's needed at all to have an amazing experience.

Finally a game worth my money

Everyone is familiar with the basic run down of mobile games, they can get addictive by you will end up getting bored after about 3 weeks of playing therefore regretting the purchase you made. But not lifeline, the whole story really puts you in perspective and causes emotions I have never had for a game before it feels like you really are trying to save Taylor, many people would interpret this as cheating but after I killed Taylor once I felt so guilty I searched up how to complete just so he wouldn't die again! Although it lasts for about 3 days it is the most engrossing emotional video game I have ever played.
Thank you 3 minute games for making these wonderful games
