Linearity Curve 6.1 builds on the foundation of the Liquid Glass release, refining the experience and addressing feedback from our community. This update focuses on stability, smoother interactions, and subtle but meaningful improvements that make designing in Curve even more precise and enjoyable. Here is what's new:
GUIDES SNAP TO CANVAS ELEMENTS
Ruler guides now snap to existing shapes and geometry on the canvas, giving you greater control and precision when aligning elements in your layout.
SNAP WHILE DUPLICATING
Duplicated elements now snap just like regular objects when using Option + Drag, making duplication workflows faster, smoother, and more accurate.
CLEANER LAYERS PANEL
Opacity values in the Layers Panel are now hidden when set to 100% and only appear on hover or for lower values. This reduces visual clutter and keeps your workspace focused on what matters most.
IMPORTANT FIXES
- Space bar now correctly activates the Hand tool
- Snapping to edges has been fixed
- The Eye Dropper tool now correctly picks gradient colors
- Color Picker remembers the last tab used

Great app but wish some improvements
I’ve had this app for years but just started to use it in last two days. I’m so amazed by this free app and I found it has computer version too. Though I hope it can improve some functions. I noticed some function cannot be done when a group or multiple objects are selected, maybe there's a way to go around but I didn’t find that. A big thing is please add Offset. That’s super useful and common for designers. Also for text, there is an option for frame to fit bound to text size, can we add on another option so we can choose to increase the text size by dragging the bound?
These are my suggestions so far. Hope this app can always be wonderful and get more and more popular.

App is now a subscription cash grab
I rarely use this app, but back when it was Vectornator, I enjoyed using it. I only just opened this app since the change to Linearity, hoping to make a vector image for an little engraving on a personal project, only to find out the app no longer lets you just use it. Now I have to create a clearly unnecessary account, seeing as it wasn't needed before. I did that and then got prompted to pay a subscription for their cloud storage, a service that was presented without any clear disclosure about data ownership & retention practices. I would much rather have kept the old app without any updates than this trash. And you can’t even get any “pro” features for a one time fee, if those features even exist. I can’t seem to work from any iCloud files directly but instead have to transfer them to the Linearity service, which only hosts 3 things. It’s also unclear that you are uploading your iCloud file to their cloud service when you click to open it. This was horrifying since the first file I opened to become familiar with the new UX held sensitive information, which I then had to figure out if I could delete it without losing my original file. This is no longer the app that I had initially. It’s a waste of space to have on my iPad. I have now deleted my account & the app. I have to hope that my data will actually get deleted.
