So far a waste of time

As an infrequent visitor to Sydney I find the toll roads an absolute nightmare to keep track of and pay. You might use 2 or 3 toll roads, and each has to be paid individually, and you have to keep checking to see if the trip has appeared online. If you forget to pay one you get hit with an absolutely extortionate "admin" charge (ie. highway robbery - literally). So I thought this app would be the answer. I made sure I registered my car and my credit card. I opened the app before my trip and said a prayer. A message appeared at the top of my phone to say LinktGO was using my location, but after the trip, nothing, nix, nada. Anyway, the trips finally came through a couple of days later and payment was easy. The developers assure me the bug has been fixed - we'll see in a week or two!
As for the tolls - Oh My God! I've travelled a lot and I've driven in many other countries and I've never had to pay so much!!! Do your job NSW government, and stop robbing people! I'm glad I don't have to live in Sydney and drive every day.

Hi Dub, thanks for leaving your feedback – we appreciate hearing about your experience and we are working every day to get it right. We had a bug throughout Nov/Dec that affected some of our customers’ ability to receive GPS trips. This has since been resolved in the latest release. Please feel assured that as long as you correctly register your vehicle details and a credit card (which it sounds like you have) and are not blocked, LinktGO will always send you your trip once we receive the road-side information. This can take a few days.

This app so easy to use when you need to pay for a toll with no tag

Straight out this is a great and easy app to use. It’s efficient and so much better than the Linkt app that I HATE using.

I am borrowing my BF car and he doesn’t have a tag and so I needed to pay the trips and took a few minutes to set up and when the trips were identified I got alerted and told how much, good info about the trip and could pay straight away.

Developers of Linkt need to learn from you guys. Love your work, thanks for making it easy to use and quick.

Rubbish App

Each time I open the app the only option on the screen says “update now” which is fine .. except everytime I press on the link to update the app it opens in the App Store and because it’s already downloaded to the most recent version it just says “open”
I tried going through the AppStore directly rather than the App but there is no available update to install..
so can’t open the app
Can’t update the app
And just received a text that my car is now “deregistered and blocked”
IM TRYING TO PAY!!! your stupid app won’t allow me access and to block my account over $13 is actually pathetic

In regards to your response. I have an iPhone 12 so not even close to 6 years old
Today I received a voicemail and text msg chasing the money that I’ve been trying to pay from the start.
Your app has caused nothing but headaches. My phone is not the issue as I was able to install the app and set up all my account details without any isssues, was fine for over a week until the payment was due to be debited and amazing timing that I suddenly had no access, was blocked and am now being chased for $13
I set up this account with the impression it was simple and reliable but now I have a bill I can’t pay ? LinktGO has no contact numbers and I can’t access my account!! And you wonder why people don’t bother paying for tolls

Hi Jane,
You may be on a very old version of iPhone IOS that we no longer support (6+ years old). You may also want to consider alternative tolling options such as Linkt who have a website login.
