No SAVE button
The iPad version of this app is broken - there is no SAVE button on the ‘edit book’ page. Works OK on the Mac / Safari version. Emailed the developers about this a couple of days ago and got no response - wondering if the app is still actively supported back at head office in Berlin.
Can’t sign up
Saw this advertised by someone I follow on Instagram and it interested me. Cut to launching in and it going straight to a login page with no option to sign.
Tried everything on the page (leaving it blank, typing what I would use, hoping to forgot password) trying to trigger a sign up option but no luck.
Checked if the app page here had the information, nope.
Found the website using Google and you have to join a wait list before you can sign up 🤷🏼♀️ maybe don’t advertise your service on social media before you’re ready for people to use it widely OR have the people that are promoting it explain that

Sorry about that! We are now officially launching, so there is no waitlist anymore and you can sign up without an invite. Would be great if you want to try it out again.
So clean and an excellent alt. to Goodreads
I have only been using the platform for a day or so - but I as a Product Designer myself I really appreciate the clean design and the minimalistic approach.
I can’t wait for this to gain further traction and have more and more book ratings, as I’d happily switch to another service over Goodreads.
