Logbook Checker is an application for Australian truck drivers which allow them to check their Driver Work Diary to make sure it complies with legal requirements.
It will also tell you when you can drive next and how long you can drive for before your next break is due. And when you fill in your Driver Work Diary it will show you how to fill it in correctly.

Easy and helpful
Great app been using it on and off since it came out years ago hasn’t had many changes since it first came out which is handy for the occasional user only downside is when I first bought the subscription it I believe it was a once of purchase now I have to pay a yearly subscription
Better and easier functionality could be achieved
As a retired police officer and hwp now long distance truck driver I find the App to confusing and think it could easily be simplified with better functionality. It’s disappointing that more focus has not been put into developing a more easy to use app for truck drivers. I have used some electronic diaries though companies I have worked for that have been very easy user friendly experiences but unfortunately one off apps like this which are designed for the majority of truck drivers have not had the R&D to make it work better. Don’t get me wrong I think the developers of this app have tried to achieve what drivers need but I think more investment needs to be done to simplify and make the app a little more visually easier to read while working
If you’re new to using a work diary
I have been driving for over 13 years now and even now using this app I feel so more relaxed when pulled over by DTMR.
Once you get used to the application it is really simple to use.
One thing I would add is a start drive and a Rest button linked to the work diary, so then you don’t have to do it all manually.
I use this all for every drive I do.
