The game starts you off with more than a hundred free logic puzzles, with new puzzles added every day as part of our Daily Challenge feature. Enjoy a new, free brain-teasing logic problem every day direct to your iPhone or iPad or build your collection with one of our puzzle pack add-ons.
Use logic and deduction to solve your way through the Professor's Logic University with the difficulty level of the puzzles rising with each completed logic problem. Good, but pointless hints
Really addictive and easy to use. Love the daily puzzles. Hints are pointless, they just tell you a random item that is false and not how you could work it out. In one example I ignored the hint because I could not see how it was possible to determine it with the clues and the state of my current grid. I managed to figure out how to complete the puzzle without it and the square from the hint was not even filled until the puzzle had been solved. Probably only a money seeking strategy, as you need to play a video to get a hint. Some improvements - if you leave and come back, please retain the crossed out clues. If you reset please remove the crossed out clues. When undoing, please indicate which square has just been cleared - so easy to hit the wrong square or think you have accidentally hit a square and may undo a correct answer in the process. Add labels to groups. Provide a hint based on the clues and the current state of the puzzle, also explain how.
Unsure why the professor is negging me
It's a good app with decent puzzles, you can still do a handful without paying for them, though it'd be grand if there were more free access ones or a subscription for new ones as opposed to a finite number for too much money. The community generated daily puzzles are a nice feature. However ! Every time I finish a puzzle the little nutty professor says snide comments like, 'Too bad you failed, but you'll do better next time!' - I think because I'm taking usually triple or longer the 'best time'. But frankly the best time is usually <3m and I genuinely don't think that's possible to do. Don't particularly like this feature when I couldn't care less how long I take to do a little morning puzzle on my phone. All in all, it's alright! But I'd gravitate toward it much more regularly without the negging and with more puzzles.
Good mind-flexing puzzles
I came across this app after downloading a much inferior version in my search for a digital version of the Logic Puzzles I love doing in books. While there are a gew issues with some of the user-submitted puzzles, overall it’s a great way to flex your brain power and to tune out for a short while (how short often depends on how accurate you are with your logic skills of deduction). The best part is a new puzzle daily to have a go at. Unfortunately, there are limited free games in the app, however you can unlock 20 more puzzles by doing some simple tasks. There are also puzzle packs available for purchase, if you so desire more logic in your life.
