Terrible

this app is terrible, I have it installed on a macbook pro (2016 with touchbar) and I can’t even connect to a server because the server dialog box is completely obscured. What a waste of $4.49. The App completely freezes and then need to force quit to close it down.

Non-native = naff

From the screenshots it looked like what I had been searching for. A basic, relatively new IRC client native to OSX. No X malarkey, Java, or stupid ui gimmicks

Unfortunately, almost the whole UI is not using any of the native OS X controls. For example, the text input boxes are all custom, and so have a lot of weird quirks and bugs. Inactive window scrolling only works occasionally. I can't have the built-in spell-checker enabled on the message entry box (essential).

If you care at all about this working like a native app, don't get it. You may as well use a web app instead.

Still buggy

As title says, still quite buggy. Connecting to servers/rooms is hit and miss. It will sometimes connect, other times it will give me an error message or will crash. Mouse clicks are off. For example, I want to message user A, but instead initiates messages with user B. Other strange bugs are the "message user" menu coming up when clicking the, "Console," "Search" etc. tabs above the sidebar.

Other small things I've noticed include the cursor that's used when inputting text not appearing when hovering over the text input field.

I will give it credit for a nice interface, though. I've been looking around for an IRC client with an interface that's not an eyesore, and this is the best so far.

Needs a lot of work. Should be better than this, considering it's v2.0.4 and an app that needs to be paid for. This seems like something that is still in beta.
