Matterport 4+

I have used this app many times. It’s very easy to use and works great across many platforms. This app has kept my business alive during these hard times and I am so glad I found Matterport.

The entire app & online editor need fixing!
I scan a 3 floor premises. In the app - everything seems fine and aligned. However when you upload the tour - two entire floors have been merged! When you walk from one point to another you morph between floors! And there is no way to know this at the time of capture because everything appears fine in the capture app and it's not till 12 hours later once the upload is complete that you realise there is an issue. Apparently the entire "floor feature" is actually redundant and not even referenced when the tour is uploaded! How stupid is that! If I tell the app that this particular scene is on floor 2 - why on earth would you try to figure it out yourself and put the scene on floor 3! My entire job is now in jeapordy as the tour is useless and even if I was to waste my time going back to site I'm sure the issue would reoccur. Matterport need to fix this issue urgently - which I doubt as I've seen the same issues being complained about from 4 years ago! We need a competitor to matterport as matterport is expensive and does not work.

Also, we have a new release which should help this issue - please ensure you are updating to use the most recent version of the Matterport app - we are working hard to improve in each release version.

Works perfect when using the dedicated Matterport camera but IMPOSSIBLE to use with the insta360 One R even though Matterport say its compatible.
It will not connect most of the time. It will connect and shoot perfect with the Insta360 app.
On the random time it does connect, one scan will take 3 mins and sometimes will not appear in the model.
I bough the Insta360 One R (360 edition) to shoot a 2 bedroom apartment while my main Matterport camera was fully booked that day but it was impossible to complete. In the end I had to use the Insta360 app and another virtual tour hosting platform as the Matterport app is NOT compatible in a business environment with the Insta360 One R camera.

Hi Its ok 473742, We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently the Matterport app can only communicate with the Insta360 One R if it has version 1.3.8 of the firmware installed.
