Missing one crucial thing
So the widgets looks great, especially the ‘vibe’ option. The only downside is that the app has to be kept opened to update and even then that takes a while. There is an option however, to instantly update the music by either opening the app again or using the playback controls (the playback controls open and close the app immediately so it’s not noticeable).
The biggest missed opportunity is when you click a widget which doesn’t have playback controls. It opens the app and keeps it open instead of closing it immediately after opening.
Developer, I think a bulk of the user issues would be solved if you added this functionality so that any widgets without playback controls would update the music without being intrusive. The widgets with playback controls have this capability so it seems 100% feasible to me.
Slightly out of sync
I don’t believe the cost for premium is as bad as a lot of these reviews would make you believe as the price is roughly only $3 for a one time purchase. but I do notice that the app can be a slight bit out of sync when starting and stopping songs but that may just be the case for my phone because it’s only a 7+ but over all this is more of an app for aesthetics and not something I would take to seriously.
