Meridian 157: Chapter 3 12+

I would rate this game 6+ stars if I was able to!!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed every single bit of this game! The puzzles were so much fun. I loved playing without the hint option, because it just made me persevere and each time I solved something it was extremely satisfying! The graphics and detail put into everything was above what I expected. I really liked how unique each puzzle was. This is not a repetitive style game where you fall into a pattern of knowing how to do things. It constantly challenges you with a variety of puzzles unlike ANY I have ever played.

I am not someone that likes much of a story line or cut scenes, I just want to play the game. This game had the perfect mix of ingredients for me with minimal cutscenes, and the very few it did have, were relevant and I was so deeply invested that I enjoyed all of them. (definitely a first for me with that)

There is not anything that I would recommend changing, and while playing I did not ever have a moment where I thought “that could have been done better”. I feel that everything about this game was crafted with absolute care for the players enjoyment and experience in mind.

Where is the missing pipe piece 4 the dumb waiter?!

Haven’t actually played to the end, but I’m through 2 the 2nd floor & this is where I have 2 start thinking. I’m doing a written play through 4 my benefit but have come 2 a halt in the mess hall in expert mode - I’m sure the pipe didn’t need fixing in easy mode 4 the dumb waiter? I’m through the unlit passage & into the caverns in easy mode, but can’t 4 the life of me figure out the missing pipe part in hard. Unlike some I like spoilers - even if it is an inevitable one. It’s a nice long final chapter, & I like having 2 work out why is it so for the puzzles. Thanks & I hope there are more like this series to come.

Hello! There is one piece of the pipe in the cabinet near the entrance, one in the flooded room and one in the room at the end of the hallway at the train station. I loved the story progression from the initial chapters through to this one very much! And I love how the puzzles made you think in depth in order to solve some of them! I love these types of games and I honestly wish you create more of them! Maybe not in the same “realm” or “reality” as this one or maybe as the child or grandchild of Dr Zander and there could be another secret facility high up deep in the Himalayas maybe? Basically I’m saying I love all the games you’ve made so far and I hope to see more!
