Description
Minesweeper 2 is the sequel to the classic retro PC game, bringing the nostalgic game you know and love to your mobile phone. The game is simple: use strategy and logic to avoid the bombs to clear the minefield. Challenge yourself and use the custom board builder to create your own puzzles. Track progress and game stats to beat your own times & scores.
If you like old classic games like chess, checkers, backgammon, solitaire, freecell, and classic puzzle games like sudoku, tetris, and crossword puzzles then this game is for you.
How to Play: Start with a covered mine field of square tiles and clear the field by tapping one square at a time. Beneath each tile is is either a number to indicates how many mines are touching the tile, a blank space, or a mine that will explode when tapped. Use strategy and logic to navigate the mine map and win the game!

I didn’t realise how much I missed this!
I used to spend hours playing Minesweeper as a kid. It’s great to be able to do it again!
Undo function
I’m a paid subscriber because I enjoy minesweeper.
I think there is two functionalities greatly needed:
1. Undo. After investing 15min clearing mines and then making a mistake like not having flag activated before tapping the mine tile or just a general mistake - it would be nice to “continue” or undo so you can continue instead of just showing try again from
Scratch or new game.
2. Ability to view mistake. How can we learn and become better if it shows you tapped a mine for 1/2 a second and then shows the action screen. I’d like to be able to see the mistake I did so I can learn and get better. For example I tapped the space and it was a mine but I was certain it wasn’t when I tapped it. Id like to be able to see the pattern and the number and learn the mistake I made.
For this I’ve removed a star. Would happily pay for undo/continue or see board credits as in-app purchase.
A Minefield
Really this is a good game but has a couple of annoying features.
It occasionally will malfunction so you find a losing mine where one should not be if the indicators are correct. Also, whilst acknowledging that adverts are the price you pay for a “free” game theirs can be overly long and frequent.
Don’t let this discourage you, however, as it’s lots of fun and a challenge to win.
