Don’t know why people are complaining.

A few people have said that the matchmaking is unfair. This simply isn’t true. I have had no issues with this, and even when you do verse people with better loot, you’re not at a very big disadvantage because as long as you rotate and move well, it doesn’t matter. I think the people complaining just don’t know how to move correctly, but I may also find the game easier because I play tennis in real life. But overall, matchmaking isn’t an issue. You don’t verse actual players but the games still very fun and feels like you’re playing against real people. Edit: ok there is one thing with the game that’s really annoying. The lobbing system needs to change, because I keep lobbing my opponents and they can always just move backwards and jump a bit to get to it, which makes it impossible to beat players with much better loot. I think the smashing needs to be nurfed and harder to do. If you’re playing this game for fun, you won’t encounter this issue for a long time, as you need to win about 60 games in a row to get the skill gap I am getting.
Could be really good
Kucumbra
In general the gameplay and mechanics are really good. Only problem lies in the matchmaking when unlocking the higher arenas. Not sure how many people play the game but almost all of the games at the higher arenas are against bots. They will consistently put you against bots which are higher levelled than you, who no matter how out of position they are, will always return your shots. It gets to a point where winning points doesn’t give any satisfaction as you know you will only win points when the game is allowing you too. When against other people the game is great but the bot system becomes silly. Ive had points where I’ve been at the net hitting multiple smashes to opposite corners with bots effortlessly returning all of them. There are points where you know no matter what you do or how perfectly you play, the bots will be designed to win in every scenario.
Feels like a gamble

When you get about 60 matches in, it starts to feel like the game decides whether you win the match or not and you don’t have any control over the result. For example the opponent can hit a slice and it will drop short of my player even though I got close enough to hit it. But when I do the same to my opponent, they always manage to get to it and hit it back easily. It starts to feel like you’re handicapped. Not sure whether this is a strategy to get players to buy better loot and packs but this franchise has done this with a lot of their games and it does take the joy out of what is otherwise a really fun game.
