MiniCine provides a simple and efficient way to produce visual effects for your movie project.
Major Features are:
- a simple user interface that mimics a light-box for lining up and editing the elements that make up your effects shot
- use of Visual Programming that allows effects to be configured by dragging and dropping processing nodes into an ImageFlow
- automated compositing means you don't need to manually process each frame
- an extensive library of processing nodes to handle common image processing and compositing functions
- integrated audio mixing
- configurable resolution (480, 720, 1080, 4k...)

What’s New

Version 2.3

New features:
- The 4 main views have been modified:
1) Shot Navigator - remains as first tab
2) Line Up - previously tab 3
3) Image Flow - previously tab 4
4) Composite - previously tab 2 and called Shot Detail
- this reworked tab is now the focus for compositing and video creation and incorporates a significantly enhanced user interface
- This new order for the workflow views is more in line with the sequence of work used to produce a shot and so should be more intuitive.
- Settings dialogue windows are now resizeable and movable
- New STACK node for simulating long shutter times and for noise reduction processing
- Input elements can now use a folder of image files as a source

Performance enhancements and defect fixes include:
- MIX node now includes a Matte input to streamline implementation of simple layering composites
- A fix for inadvertent creation of iCloud file duplicates
- Addition of more prominent vertex handles in the Perspective node
- An improved UI for the Compositor control panel in the Line Up and Image Flow views
- An additional export option to produce individual PNG images added to the new Composite view
- Resolved problems in LINE-UP when changing input element source orientation
- OUT node now crops to the specified composite element resolution size if presented with larger images
- Fixed defect in TRACK node which impacted plotting of the Smoothing graph
- Improved ADD and SUBTRACT node algorithms to produce mathematically correct pixel values by removing gamma prior to calculations
- Resolved issue that sometimes prevented editing of the length of the first element in Line-Up
- Fixed problem with intermittent unresponsiveness of horizontal scrolling of input elements in Line-Up using touch gestures
- Added ability to view and manage cache files in Support Centre / Manage Storage
- Resolved a number of update issues with the Frame Viewer
