Ratings and Reviews
Daylight savings not accounted for in future
I love this app’s beautiful yet simple, intuitive and minimalist ui. Much thought was definitely put into the design which makes it easy and comforting to use which was what initially attracted me to download it.
However recently I noticed a few subtle issues. For one, if you scroll few months into the future the time indicated doesn’t account for daylight savings time in different time zones/locations. Also some locations don’t have proper daylight savings time indicated. (E.g. somehow for Richmond, Texas daylight savings time not accounted for but it is in Houston, Texas time and if I’m not mistaken both time should be identical all year round.)
After noticing these issues I’ve had to switch to a different app. Can’t risk being misled on correct time for locations I’m concerned with.
“Previous day” indicator
It should display a warning if the hour displayed for another city is not on the same day but next or previous day.
This is a TRAP for the unwary!!!
Loved it
I tried several similar apps and liked this the most. Great UI and UX. Beautiful solves a painful problem.
Agree that adding time zone search would make it better. Also adding an easier way to select future dates (perhaps a calendar picker).
Finally, it would be great to have a small visual indication when one of the time zones is currently in daylight savings.
