Works fine so far

I have a whole lot of old photos and videos on a hard drive from my PC before i converted to Mac. I had a devils time finding a program only to learn now that it is no longer supported.

Found this app in the app store, read a few mixed reviews an thought i'd try it. Worked a treat, played all the old videos straight away without having to convert them.

very happy so far.

Simple & Effective

App fills the job i need it to do, however, it doesnt respond to the pause/play buttons on the Mac bluetooth keyboard which i often forget because i habitually use those keys so i end up having to play silly buggers with the music app which opens in its stead. The only other issue ive notices is that the playback prohress bar lags quite a bit until paused at some stage, at which point the indicator zooms to catch up to the timestamp where i acually am thru the video file. This makes things tricky if i want to jump to certain sections before pausing because i have an inaccurate reference of where i am thru the video file.

Other than those few small isues i have no gripes :) Great app 👍🏻

My Personal Thoughts (Kinda)

I personally found this app great at first, it worked amazingly to begin with, but by the time I got to the third episode I was watching, it wouldn’t come up. It took me 10 mintues to figure out how to get out of it, and I only got out of it thanks to Siri. I uninstalled the app and it registered that I uninstalled it, but it also said “open” and didn’t remove itself from my task bar. I’m sorry, but I’m confused and slightly annoyed, so this lead me to give you a three star rating after some debate. I’ve got too much to get done in my busy schedule to bother trying to fix anything, so I bid you good day.

Please don’t let my personal experiences cloud anyones judgment of this app, as it works just fine for a little while, I’d just implore you to be cautious
