Monoloci is a safety focused tool that can assist if one finds themselves in an emergency, especially when out and about as a solo tourist in a new location. We built the home screen with a big SOS button which, when pushed, offers options to call 000 (Australian emergency services), or send a text with predefined message to a nominated contact along with sending a google maps link of your exact location. These functions are time savers which could prove lifesaving in an emergency. Less friction means a quicker response.
Monoloci includes an array of fun features:
Trip Planner (Trip) allows a user to enter attractions/destinations (up to 10) and calculate exact times it will take to travel to entered locations plus analyze the itinerary advising of timing conflicts or when you could spend more time in a given location. With 1 click your trip is imported into google maps for guided directions. Save you itineraries for future use.
The Group Activities portal (Activ) is for paid activities and tours where an operator has provided an activity code. This code opens a new mode in the app providing information about the specific activity, including documents essential to the event and allows participants to chat and share photos. The Activ screen also offers a Tours and Events Directory to explore future activites and adventures.
Curated Journeys (JRNY) is a space to explore local attractions, nature hot spots, food & drink venues and be rewarded with various node (location) unlocks.
2 Journey types - Theme and Mystery;
Theme Journeys include 8-16 locations and provide detailed information about the location to assist in your destination travels.
Mystery Journeys include multiple stops on the way to a final destination unknown to the user. Clues are offered and the in-app map shows the next 800m (300m for walking) of the journey to guide the way to your next stop. It's a great way to discover new locations with an exciting mystery element.
My Journey creates a link to share with friends and family so your recipient can follow your journey in google maps in real time.
Sound Scape opens your device audio recorder with 1 touch of a prominent button tocreate a voice diary or record the sounds in the landscape for future memories. We always take visual memories, now we encourage audio memories too.
