Phases of the Moon in Augmented Reality (AR) directly addresses important concepts that are not observable using traditional teaching resources. Students are faced with questions that require them to discover (Indoor Discovery View) the answers through observation in AR. In the Outdoor Scale View, students address concepts of scale through observation of size and distance in a large open space.

Great to have some useful and well thought out AR apps for education. So much better than static models and boring videos I usually use in Physics class. This is an awesome modelling tool for moon phases whilst generating lots of productive discussion in class today and.. kinda cool also. Looking forward to more like this please👍🏼

Great way to see all the moon phases from perspective of the earth and how it is lit from the sun at the same time. Using augmented reality is a great way to model this! Nice.
