Average journal app
Overall this app is mediocre and there are plenty better. A lot of upgrades require additional payment which are just too expensive for what they are. No support for pressure with Apple Pencil with any of the free pens. Dotted line styles are the only feature which sets it ahead of some others. Some iso and perspective backgrounds would be a nice addition.
A set and forget app?
The most striking might be terms of service, but there it is here, 6 years and still no changes, difficult terms and conditions, and still, the inability to print; a flipbook like app offering no physical archive capability despite the ancient „print coming soon“; physical archive tools remain absent raising questions as to professional utility, risk with data archive is hacks; the basic paper grids and tools has disappeared so less viable than the past. Not sure if there is anyone on the other side of the mirror managing these questions outside of fee creep.
Account required; hideous terms of service
The applications by this developer look great in the images they post, but after reading their terms of service after being blocked from using any of their apps without an account / storing everything on their cloud only, and not locally, subjected to their draconian terms of use, plus in-app purchases? Forget it. I'll just use a different app that won't treat artists with this much contempt.
