Great for Detective’s/Police
I am a Detective and my job is go-go-go! all the time. Staying organised is critical, and “use Motion” has proven to be an exceptional tool. The application is highly user-friendly, streamlined interface where everything is accessible with a single click—no need for multiple tabs. Its colour-coded system helps in quickly prioritising tasks, while the AI-driven calendar adjusts to unfinished tasks, so nothing is missed.
However, “use Motion” could improve in a few areas: Firstly, the pricing is steep; at $50 AUD per month, it’s the most expensive app of its category from it’s competitors. You guys need to lower the price. You’re loosing a massive market share of people. Secondly, while the app is excellent for basic task management, it lacks deeper customisation options and broader integration with other applications, which would enhance its utility, especially given the cost. In short for $50AUD - this app needs 10x more than the amazing features it already has.
Overall, “use Motion” is a robust tool for organisation, particularly suited for high-stakes professions.

Best productivity app I have used
I started using Motion a couple of months ago and have found it really useful to manage my productivity.
I am an academic and have multiple competing priorities, so need to manage my time and tasks well. And I don’t have a PA to do it for me!
I have used several different task managers over the years and found them either well integrated but too simple, or else too complex and disconnected from my calendar.
I love the way Motion populates my calendar with tasks, so when I have a gap between meetings my priority tasks are there in front of me to do. And when it starts blowing out I get warnings go I can review my priorities and timelines.
I use both Exchange and iCloud calendars and Motion now supports both (thank you!) so it now scores 5 stars from me.
Great customer service *****
I purchased Motion in the hope that I could use it for work. Unfortunately, my work I.T department would not allow me to use it so I asked Motion to cancel my subscription. Not only did they cancel it but they also refunded my money within days! Great customer service! They are not scammers, and hopefully one day soon I will get to use Motion on a different platform! Happy customer! 😁
