Description

"Poco-a-Poco: Music Reading Essentials" helps learning and practicing sheet music reading, understanding musical signs and symbols, note names, rhythms, intervals and more.

Designed with the help of professional piano teachers, this fundamental tool is for those who are learning to play piano or other musical instruments, as well as for anybody who needs practicing sheet music reading.

The application has four sets of flash cards divided into stages with increasing knowledge level. By choosing either one or a combination of any of the four sets, you can start testing yourself and study at the same time. The specially designed shuffling algorithm will start showing more often those cards, which were not answered correctly.

Choose Notes from either Treble clef, Bass clef, Alto clef or the combination of Treble and Bass clefs ("Grand" mode).

Use "Timer" to test your knowledge.

The "Results" screen will show your progress as well what you need to continue working on.

With the "Cards Info" screen you can see how the cards are arranged by sets and stages.

Nice graphics

Very easy to use and friendly. A good start for reading theory. I have the Musicopoulos Theory app for advanced theory.

❤️ this app 👍

It has helped me to memorise notes etc. Yes, I do agree it is great for beginners and intermediate skill. I love the way you can monitor your results so you know where your weaknesses are and concentrate more on them. I also like that you hear your notes too. That helps to put things into perspective too. Keep up the good work 😄 and thank you for making learning fun 💕

Good for beginners, but...

Very good app for beginner and intermediate skill training, but in the interval section all the intervals are either melodic or harmonic intervals. Is this American?
In Australia we say 'minor 2,3,6 & 7, 'major 2,3,6 & 7', 'perfect 1,4,5 & 8) and augmented 4/diminished 5. Can you please include this form of identification in a future update.
