My Aquarium Guide 4+

Cool companion app for aquarium hobbyists. The app is neatly presented and offers some nice photos of each fish species and basic info regarding temperament and favourable conditions. It's really fun to learn a little bit about different fish species in a general sense but also to discover new fish to consider for your tank. Has some basic information regarding some diseases and treatment options which is also a welcome addition. Would rate 5 stars if information for each fish included not only PH guidelines but also GH/KH. Would be the ultimate app for planning an aquarium if the user had the ability to sort fish by water parameters (PH/GH/KH) to determine which fish species could be kept in a tank together based on favourable conditions. Great app but there's definitely potential to make it something really special for aquarium enthusiasts!

This little app is actually fantastic to use. The gallery view is wonderful and although a lot of species are missing (and there is no "unlock all content" option... Instead each fish pack is a little more than I'd like to pay) the species that are contained are wonderful to read about. Very clean interface, and quite stable to use. Excellent for the aquarium beginner to research what they may want to buy fish-wise.

The info is great but it does not have nearly enough information to support a serious fish keeper. Better calculation fish/litre. More fish (no pleco, red tail shark...) and more plants. Could be a great program but requires more info. A breeding section in the app would be great too (start with the easy ones like live breeders - guppies, silver mollies...)

A section on maintain tank health would be fantastic too. Something that graphs the tank's pH, ammonia and so on...

Update 2018 - they have added a fair few fish, needs to be rated to access these though so staying in 3 stars till I can properly review.
