Description
MyThermotouch allows you to connect your electric underfloor heating thermostat to your wireless router for accurate control from anywhere you have an internet connection. You can set a target temperature, edit your heating schedule and even control an electric towel rail with the Thermotouch Dual Control Thermostat. Compatible thermostats: Thermogroup 5220W, 5226W, 5245W and 5246W.

Broken.
Don’t know what is going on with this app. I can get the device to say its connected after putting in password through app. But app never completes adding device. Just times out and no device in list. Does not help that I had to move the router almost beside the controller before it would “connect”. Though there are a few 2.4 gig networks around here, it would be nice to be able to choose the ssid one wants to connect to on the device and not have the app and device “discover” each other. I get they were probably trying to make it idiot proof, but when things don’t work its almost impossible to troubleshoot. Can’t help thinking more effort was put into how it looks versus making it reliable. Probably have to do some packet capture to see what’s going on, if anything.
Good idea, poor implementation.
Pathetic
Rarely creates the connection. When/if it does the app is cumbersome to use. If you are (not) lucky it will crash every time you click on a device. The solution then is to delete and restore devices to factory settings. But then you have the problem of connecting all over again!
Functional, but could do with some simple improvements
This app does everything it says it will, however has one particularly annoying little thing about it. When setting the schedule the time is extremely sensitive and it’s almost impossible to set it on the hour or half hour. So you end up with start times like 5:06am
